Lenore is the mermaid from the live-action classic, Mr. Peabody and the Mermaid portrayed by actress Ann Blyth.
Biography[]
Mr. Peabody, a middle-aged man from Boston, heard Lenore's singing while on a vacation in the Caribbean. He continued to fish, and caught Lenore. He then took the mermaid back to his house with him. Lenore doesn't speak, and looks the world with innocent eyes. Mr. Peabody falls in love with her, even though he's already married. Lenore also grew to love Mr. Peabody. When Peabody was hunted by the police, he took Lenore to the nearby Cay. The police still found him, and he told Lenore to escape. Later Lenore started singing again, which lead to Mr. Peabody to jump overboard and sank to the bottom of the sea, he was saved though.
